Danièle Cyr

I am the president of a business coaching, organizational development and training company established in 2008. I work with SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), organizations and NPOs (non-profit organizations).

My business acumen developed through a family-run business. I was co-owner and general manager of a car dealership for 20 years, where I conducted the daily operations of 6 teams with up to 85 employees. I also was involved in the sale and transfer of the company.

My academic and professional experience is available to enable you, as a business person, to reach further for yourself and to help your team on that journey towards organizational development and profitability.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

After a Bachelor’s degree in French Literature and Ancient Studies at the University of Ottawa, I obtained a certificate in Spanish at the University of Complutense in Madrid. I acquired my certification in public relations followed by an MBA at Université Laval. I completed three years of studies at Integral Coaching Canada and obtained a Master certification in 2009.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

My career provided me with some unique insights and skills. I worked in public affairs with provincial and federal governments and with the private sector. I was a representative for a consulting engineering firm and dealt with institutional clients. I held the position of general manager and later, thanks to the family transfer of the company, I was co-owner of a car dealership with 6 teams, 85 employees. Currently I coach business people (since 2008) and was, for the last five years, a professor at the Telfer School of Management, teaching budding entrepreneurs, as well part of the University of Ottawa’s Center of Leadership (LADO).
